PRNC alumni, Maní (formerly Zeus) crossed the rainbow bridge in May, 2022.
With heavy hearts, we recently set our beloved Maní Wee free. He was the third member of our family for nine years and although small in stature he was a large persona. Maní came to us a year after we'd said goodbye to our first PugPros rescue, Percy (Woo), and happened to be available for adoption almost the entire time we had determined to wait before bringing another pug into our home—in that year, no one had ever elected to pay him a visit in his foster home, we were the first, and we felt he was meant to be our boy from the start (once he warmed up to his new dad and stopped barking at him!) An accomplished cuddler, a mighty protector, our sweethearted boy. Goodbye, our beloved, you will be forever missed.

Hi! My name is ZEUS, and I hate to brag, but I am ADORABLE! I'm a very sweet 3-year-old pug boy. I have been neutered and am up-to-date with immunizations and micro-chipped. I love to cuddle and be held. I can also be spunky, and love to play with toys and with other dogs, with whom I get along well. I am crate-trained. Because I was kept outdoors in my previous home, I need some help with learning the fine art of being house-trained. I am eager to please, so should do well.
A neurological problem causes me to drag my front paws until their tops get scraped if I walk on cement, brick, or other rough surfaces. I have not exhibited any other neurological symptoms, Because of this problem with my “hands” I need to find a home where I can walk on grass or other soft surfaces. I do LOVE to ride in a doggie stroller while other dogs are being walked.
I've been told I am a real sweetheart and will make a wonderful pet.
