Meet some of the Pugs your donations help. Even if you don’t buy a print
please help by donating by check or PayPal. We have Hospice Pugs who need
Sponsors also. We can’t continue without your help. Here are a few of the
hospice pugs needing sponsors:

Hospice Pug – Scooter

Scooter came from a shelter in October 2003 and is about 13 now. He was
turned in by his “family” because they didn’t want him any longer and had
younger dogs so they put him outside. He’s blind and deaf, but luckily his
foster family lives in a one-story home and he gets around very well.
Scooter was so terrified that at first he attacked all of his housemates.
Even though he can’t see, he still needs Optimmune twice a day in his
eyes. When he came to us our vet told us he was suffering from severe hip
dysplasia and degenerative joint disease. Thanks to good quality food and
daily glucosamine he is doing much better and is now quite comfortable.
He loves treats and an occasional Greenie, and chews on Nylabones after
every meal. Scooter doesn’t ask for much, and he gives me the warm
fuzzies seeing how safe and comfortable he feels snoozing in his dog bed.

Senior Pug - Sassy

Sassy was turned into PROS because her owner had to move in with her
mother to take care of her and due to her mother’s health Sassy couldn’t
move with her. It was a very hard decision for her to make but sometimes
life’s choices don’t leave people much room for choice. Sassy is one of
the many Pugs PROS takes in that have been well taken care of and loved
but have to be given up due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control.
Sassy is close to 11 years old now but a sweeter Pug you couldn’t ask for.
Sassy has tail wags and kisses for everyone even the children in her
foster home. She’s a bit stiff due to arthritis but takes Glucosamine
which has helped her mobility a lot. Sassy had a sinus infection earlier
this year so allergy season affects her as it seems to affect most Pugs.

Every year more and more Senior Pugs are left homeless.
PROS works to provide them with a stable, loving environment and a home
where they can live for their lifetime no matter how long or short that
time may be. There is an ever growing need to provide them with permanent
adoptive homes and our Hospice Pugs with permanent foster homes. Your
donations make this happen and if you have room the joy of fostering one
of these beautiful grey faces can make your life full and really help a
needy Pug. Please help us fulfill this wish – donate by buying a
"Pugarita", "Pug Sauve, Mon Pug" or Cannes Style Pug Festival print this
month.

Thank you!
